  • Welcome and PechaKucha — Six minute presentations by participating groups on their work and interests
  • Technical Corner — Participants latest developments in TLS instruments, hardware and software

Tuesday, June 17, 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Brisbane Data Progress — Progress reports by individual groups participating in the Brisbane field campaign
  • New TLSIIG Research Initiatives — Presentations by other workshop participants and groups
  • Working Group Discussions and Report Back — Three discussion groups focusing on themes for planned papers coming from the Brisbane activity

Wednesday, June 18, 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM

  • TLSIIG Funding Opportunities — Brainstorming on funding sources, such as Horizon 2020 program, US NSF Research Coordination Network program, etc.
  • Splinter Group Activities — Follow-up meetings on funding and research paper topics as needed
  • Next Steps — Open discussion on next steps and the way forward

Thursday, June 19, 10:00 AM —8:00 PM

  • TLS Demonstration Day — Scanning with several TLS instruments at Delamere Forest, near Chester, Cheshire

Friday, June 20, 10:00 AM — 4:00 PM

  • Visit to UK Forest Research HQ, Alice Holt Forest — Forest walk and talk, visit to TLS scanning and destructive scanning sites, continued TLS scanning
